BRADY’S STEAK & SEAFOOD

PRA helped brothers Steve and Chad Brady build this popular riverfront restaurant in the spring of 2017. In mid-2020, the Bradys added a dock for diners to boat up to the property. Balcony dining is a favorite for customers, and the area underneath the restaurant, equipped with a bar, is often used by groups and parties to host private events.

 

THE JURY ROOM

Established in 2018, The Jury Room was built with PRA assistance by owners Ramsay Taylor and Parker Pugh. A distinctive bar unique to Pascagoula, this classy establishment offers more than 100 bourbons and whiskies, along with craft beers and wine. The back of the building features an apartment.

 

The Lofts at Scranton’s

Built as the firehouse and city hall in 1925, this building has been the home of Scranton’s Restaurant and Catering for 38 years. With PRA assistance, owners and Pascagoula natives Richard Chenoweth and Jack Pickett have transformed the bottom floor into a restaurant-bar-market and opened its doors in October 2020. They also created four loft apartments on the top floor, which are available for rent now.

 
 

Pascagoula Professional Building

A new owner breathed new life into this mostly empty building with assistance from the PRA. In addition to legal, financial, and contracting tenants, Chevron has located some of its professional staff here.

 

THE COURTYARD
AT CITY DOCK

The PRA and Coldwell Banker Alfonso Realty partnered to create these beautiful riverfront residences, unveiled late fall 2019. With nine townhomes currently finished, the development lines the Pascagoula River, providing a beautiful view of the Singing River Bridge and Ingalls Shipbuilding. Construction is currently underway on additional townhomes for purchase.

 

THE COURTYARD

The PRA assisted owner Jason Poole in rehabbing this vacant building into the New Orleans style Courtyard Downtown, an indoor/outdoor event space. An apartment was constructed upstairs. The Courtyard opened in Spring 2021.

 
 

The Lofts at Odd Fellas

Built in 1907, the Odd Fellows building is now home to Off the Hook restaurant, known for its delicious seafood dishes. Building owners Ramsay Taylor and Jonathan Roy used PRA assistance and historic tax credits to build four apartments upstairs, one apartment downstairs in the back, and Kitchen Sisters meal prep kitchen up front next to the restaurant.

 

CITY CENTRE

The City Centre project involves the renovation, restoration, and transformation of the historic Pascagoula-Moss Point Bank Building into mixed-use development with one floor of commercial space, three floors of residential rental units, a penthouse apartment, and a rooftop bar and lounge. The PRA is helping owners Shannon and Cynthia Strunk see their vision to completion.

 

KEENUM CPA

Jason S. Keenum, CPA, enlisted the help of the PRA to relocate and expand his long-time accounting business. He moved into the new office at the end of 2020.

 
 

726 Delmas Avenue

Jason Poole and Chad Purdy received PRA assistance to build three apartments upstairs and several offices downstairs.

 

PASCAGOULA EXECUTIVE SUITES

Formerly a home health care business, this building is now home to executive suites with a ground floor apartment in the back. Developer Kenneth Jones opened the suites at the end of 2020.

 

District Flats

This two-story building is owned by Pascagoula native Allison Brown Buchanan and her husband Pat. They have mixed-use plans for the building in the heart of downtown.

 
 

710 Delmas Avenue

Pascagoula native Dane Maxwell purchased adjacent properties downtown to turn them into mixed office and retail space, with the help of the PRA. Two boutiques opened in spring 2021: Posies & Puddles, a children's boutique and Boldly Blonde, a women’s boutique.

 

INNOVATION CENTER

A key part of the overall Pascagoula riverfront mixed-use revitalization initiative, the Innovation Center will be a 15,000 square foot facility providing collaborative office and laboratory space for innovators, including audio/video equipment, state-of- the-art computing and 3D printing equipment, and specialized features for computer simulation and augmented reality.

 

Poolemerica Executive Suites

Built in 1938, the building was originally Pascagoula National Bank and over the years has served as a police station and held offices for the U.S. Treasury Department. Halter Marine moved 60 full-time employees into the offices at Plaza West in spring 2022.

 
 

Hotel Whiskey

At 650 Delmas Avenue, formerly the Brumfield property, developer Michael Craven and his team will construct a boutique hotel built in two phases. The first phase will include 16 units and the second phase will include up to 31 units. The development will include a mix of hotel and apartment units, a pool, and two retail spaces fronting Delmas Avenue.

 

Delo’s on Delmas

On the northeast corner of Delmas Avenue and Canty Street, Delores Nettles will repurpose the existing building into four apartments and three retail units: a coffee shop, bakery, and cigar bar.

 

3109 Pascagoula Street

Formerly Monica’s Restaurant, Ramsay Taylor is converting the building that extends down Watts Avenue into four apartments, retail space facing Pascagoula Street, and an interior event space.

 

618 Delmas Avenue

618 Delmas Avenue is being renovated by Pascagoula native Katie Hinkle, with assistance from the PRA, into residential and commercial space. The storefront on Delmas Avenue will be home to Lee Tracy Women's Boutique.

641 Delmas Avenue

Formerly the Downtown Buffett building, Jason Poole received PRA assistance to renovate the building into two commercial spaces: Italian Bistro and Stella Gray Luxury Boutique.

The Doc House

With assistance from the PRA, Jason Poole is renovating this historic home into 5 residential units for rent.

 

3109 Magnolia Street

With assistance from the PRA, Jason Poole renovated this restaurant space.

720/722 Delmas Avenue

Jourdan Nicaud and Bill Legier used PRA assistance to convert the vacant building into four apartments and two retail spaces.

Anchor Square

With GCRF funding secured by the PRA, developer Joe Cloyd will transform the former Anchor Square property into residential cottages.

 

Train Depot

With GCRF funding secured by the PRA, developer Joe Cloyd will restore Pascagoula's train depot into a restaurant and micro-brewery.

733 Delmas Avenue

With the help of the PRA, this 15,000 square foot building that had sat vacant for many years is being renovated into mixed-use space by Pascagoula native Jessica Taylor.

Ice House

Jourdan Nicaud is working on a $14 million dollar development at the historic Ice House location that includes a hotel, restaurants, and retail space.

 
 
 

501 Krebs Avenue

Formerly known as Lewis Printing, the Willcutts enlisted the help of the PRA to transform this vacant property. The old print shop was remodeled into three commercial spaces, including Flagship Embroidery. The house on the property was also renovated for rental purposes.
